Hi, I'm Rob Smith
I've been working in construction for over 35 years, developing skills and contacts every step of the way. In 2000 I established RMS Construction and we have been going from strength to strength ever since.
I take pride in the projects we have developed and we operate to the best of our ability to serve our clients. As a result, we have developed strong ongoing business which is both rewarding and allows us to be extremely competitive on price.
If you want to ensure the highest quality in a build you need a workforce that is experienced, highly qualified and dedicated to their profession.
Having lived in the Wantage area all my life, I am able to source and employ the best tradesman in the area. Whilst encouraging young people into the construction industry, the majority of our employees are very experienced, each well qualified in their particular trade.
This gives me an advantage over many companies in the area, there is rarely a situation that we have not encountered before. Be it new build, extension or conversion, we, as a team are all well equipped to deal with the situation.
Accustomed to liaising with architects, planners, designers and building inspectors, we will get the job done as efficiently as possible with the minimum of disruption to you.

We will help from start to finish. We can liaise with your architects, interpret your building plans and liaise fully with building inspectors. We have access to all trades and will develop your construction speedily, consulting with you fully throughout the process.
Barn Conversions or re-modelling, we have a track record of successful conversions. Working with all properties, old or new, we use traditional or modern skills, materials and methods to ensure compatibility or contrast with the existing property.
Whether annexe, garden room, one, two or three storey we are fully accomplished in this area. We are fast, focused on detail and tidy in our work. We appreciate that you will often be living in the property throughout the build and operate accordingly. Minimising your pain!
